Cite Right!

Students, as you write papers and format bibliographies, a few reminders on how to "cite right":

1. Utilize the print citation style guides available at the Reference Desk in Hewes Library. Style guides contain examples of in-text citations, bibliographies, and how to format your final paper. (more information)

2. Library closed? Purdue University's Online Writing Lab (OWL) is an accessible alternative to a the MLA, APA and Chicago Manual of Style print citation guides.

3. Consult with the Monmouth College Writing Center on the third floor of Mellinger, open 3-5pm on Monday-Thursday and 7-10pm Sunday-Thursday.

4. Consult with a Hewes Librarian available Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm, 6-9pm, Friday 8am-4:30pm, Sunday 12-4:30pm, 6-9pm.
